Students from across the Eastern Ontario region will have the opportunity to compete against fellow students in their chosen skilled trade field. Students have the chance to test their skills, gain knowledge, confidence and experience in their trade.

Schools have the opportunity to express their commitment to trade education while showcasing the skills and abilities of their students. Corporate support not only makes the Regional Skills Competition possible, but also helps to bring awareness of the skilled trades to students, educators and the public at large.

An Awards Ceremony will be held to celebrate everyone’s participation, award the top 3 finalist their prizes, and acknowledge the generous support of our sponsors.

The skilled trades industry faces a shortage of skilled workers in the very near future. This is an excellent opportunity for educators and employers to come together to encourage students to pursue a career in the trades.
